Yamuna water level recedes in Mathura

Residents & flood control officials heave a sigh of relief as earlier forecast had said that the river was expected to rise menacingly with devastating results.
Following the warning, the district administration has set up 46 flood control posts & requisitioned over six dozen boats while putting the same number of boats on stand by. Though the flood water has entered Parikrama Marg in Vrindaban & Panigaon in Ashram Vijai Kaushal Maharaj, it has not touched Aarati Sthal at Vsiram Ghat in Mathura.
