Varanasi bans chicken trade, sale
The administration of Varanasi has banned chicken trade specially purchase of chicken from West Bengal. The sale also has been stopped in the markets of the city as a precautionary step.
The Sources said that it has been decided to thoroughly check the trains coming from West Bengal to ensure that the ban is confirmed. This pronouncement has come a day after chicken being smuggled from West Bengal was seized at the Rourkela railway station.
