Two terrorists killed in Delhi Encounter

However, two terrorists managed to escape. Two policemen of the Special cell were also injured in the encounter.
According to police tip-off, there were five terrorists holed up in an apartment near Kaliullah mosque. While two terrorists have been killed, two have managed to flee & one terrorist has been arrested.
Police said that the terrorists were member of the terror group Indian Mujahideen. The Special cell of Delhi Police reacted to a tip-off received from Ahmedabad blasts prime suspect Mufti Abu Bashir. Bashir had identified the house in Jamia Nagar where he along with Delhi serial blasts mastermind Md Subhan Qureshi had taken shelter.
On Thursday, Bashir was brought to Delhi in connection with Saturday’s serial blasts. He allegedly told his interrogators that he knew serial blasts were being planned in Delhi but claimed he was not aware of their timing. Five blasts rocked New Delhi on Saturday in which 25 people were killed & 100 injured.
