Two pilots have been killed when a six-seater Chartered plane of the Punjab government crashed while landing at the Sahnewal airport near Ludhiana.
A senior Police official said that the King Air C-90 aircraft had taken off from Chandigarh at 10.50 a.m. on a trial flight after repairs. It crashed within minutes at Dugiana village near the airport, 20 km from Ludhiana.
The official said that the pilot & the co-pilot of the six-seater chartered plane, which belonged to the Punjab Government, were killed in the incident. The relief & rescue teams have been rushed to the spot.
