Teenager arrested for sending threatning email of blast
Mar 24th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, India News, Mumbai News, National NewsA has been arrested for sending an e-mail threatening to blow up a suburban railway station in Mumbai. A 16-year-old student from Ahmedabad was held for sending threatning email of blast in train in Andheri on 18 March.
An official of Police said on Monday, “We narrowed down on the address from where the mail was sent by tracking the Internet Protocol (IP) address & arrested the boy on March 22″.
The threatning email was recieved by channel India TV on March 18. India TV then show this email to Mumbai Police. The email was sent by the email adress of dgang4blast@yahoo.com. He write in his email,
“I will kill everyone tonight in Andheri Station. There will be a blast in a train in Andheri Station. I m from “D” gang. The bomb will be exploded at 7:00 pm. Stop me if you can”.
The teenager who is a class XI student of science stream, has confessed to having sent the e-mail & also apologised. The boy had sent the e-mail just for fun.
