There is a bad news for commuters as petrol & diesel will soon be costly. “The Government will hike fuel prices from next week. The price of diesel price will be hiked by Re 1 & petrol is likely to be increased by Rs 2″, the sources said. Sources said that the Government has no other option so they have to raise the price because of the increase in price of crude oil in the international market. However, this will be a minor hike compared to last time when prices had gone up by up to Rs 12. “The fuel price hike will have a cascading effect on the common man. He has threatened that the Left parties will protest against the decision”. CPI leader D Raja said.
