Supreme Court will hear Sethusamudram case today
The Supreme Court will hear the Sethusamudram case today. The apex court had earlier stayed the project, which involves dredging a shipping channel between India & Sri Lanka over objections that it would affect the Ram Sethu.
Meanwhile, Janata Party president Subramaniam Swamy has filed a petition alleging that Shipping Minister TR Baalu has vested interest in the project as his family companies are involved in the project.
