Sonia Gandhi, Shivraj Patil visit terror-hit areas of Jaipur

Sonia Gandhi the president of Congress & Shivraj Patil the Union Home Minister have visited terror-hit areas of Jaipur on Thursday. They also met injured who are undergoing treatment in the Sawai Mansingh Hospital & other local hospitals. Condemning the terrorist act, Shivraj Patil said that Strict action will be taken against those responsible for the blasts. Centre will also try to compensate the losses suffered by the victims.

Prior to Sonia Ganhdi’s visit, Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje went to the Sawai Mansingh Hospital to inquire about the welfare of the injured. On Wednesday, Rajasthan Police has released the sketch of a 25-year-old man with medium height who was suspected to be behind Tuesday’s serial blasts in Jaipur. Police has released the sketch of suspected terrorist on the basis of details provided by a shopkeeper at Kishenpole Bazaar who sold him a cycle, which was used in planting a bomb in the crowded area.
