Sikhs protest is continue as the police has not yet arrested Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim, accused in rape, murder & money laundering cases. Sikhs are protesting against the killing of a Sikh, Balkaar Singh, in firing by bodyguard of Ram Rahim on Friday. Sikhs are demanding the arrest of Baba Ram Rahim, who is yet to be arrested. Sikhs are protesting in Patiala near Gurudwara Dukhniwaran Sahib, Amritsar near Golden Temple, Bathinda, Ludhiana & Faridabad.

Chief of Damdami Taksal Baba Harnam Singh Dhuma in a meeting held with various Sikh religious organizations at Jallandhar has demanded immediate arrest of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh along with his body guard for allegedly killing a Sikh at Mulund Mall on Friday.

Earlier, Police had arrested three people suspected for the murder of Balkar Singh. One of the three arrested for the killing of a Sikh in a firing in Mulund had confessed to having fired the round from his pistol at the Sikh mob.

Dera Sachcha Sauda Chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim had drawn the ire of Sikhs for allegedly hurting their religious sentiments after he appeared dressed as Sikhs Tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji at a public function in Haryana’s Sirsa town where a religious commune headed by him is situated.
