Shomu Mukherjee passes away

He was a co-owner of Filmalaya Studios has passed away in Mumbai. Mukherjee was survived by his wife Tanuja & his daughters Kajol and Tanisha.
Shomu, who had directed films like Chhaliya Babu, Patthar Ke Insaan & Lover Boy, died of a heart attack around 8 am. The incident occurred one day before the release of Ajay Kajol starrer U Me Aur Hum.
The last film that Mukherjee had directed was Sang Dil Sanam starring Salman Khan & Manisha Koirala.
