Senior citizens accidentally locked up during sealing by MCD

A senior official of MCD said that the incident took place in Tilak Nagar area. The two were rescued a couple of hours later.
The official blamed “negligence” by the concerned MCD team for the incident & said necessary action would be taken against them.
The civic body has been conducting a Supreme Court-ordered sealing drive targeting illegal commercial units in the city.
