Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur will visit Pakistan
The sister of Sarbjit Singh, an Indian prisoner in pakistan, Dalbir Kaur, said She will visit Pakistan.
She is carrying Sarabjit’s identity proofs & she would also show the CD of Pakistani national Salim Shaukat, who in a recent TV interview reportedly admitted that he was forced to testify against her brother.
Dalbir Kaur said she had appealed the family members of those lodged in Pakistani jails to hand over their details at Amritsar so she could pursue their case.
Dalbir Kaur said, “It’s not just my brother who must come back. I want every innocent person, Indian or Pakistani, to return home”.
Dalbir would reportedly visit Jatti Umra to seek the support of the former Pakistan PM’s family for her brother’s release.
Sarabjit Singh was sentenced to death in 1991 for his alleged involvement in four bomb blasts in Lahore & Multan that killed 14 people. His family denies he is a spy as claimed by Pakistan & insists he accidentally strayed into Pakistani territory.
