Riot police beat up Sikh Protestors
Sikhs Protesters have been kicked & beaten up by Police on Saturday. Sikhs were protesting against firing by Ram Rahim’s bodyguard. A large no. of Sikh protesters took to the streets in Mumbai after violent protests hit the city following the death of 50 years old Sikh man, Balkar Singh, who was killed by the body guard of Dera Saccha Sauda Chief — Ram Rahim Singh yesterday. The protesters demanded the arrest of Ram Rahim Singh.
Ram Rahim had drawn the ire of Sikhs for allegedly hurting their religious sentiments after he appeared dressed as Guru Gobind Singh Ji at a public function in Haryana’s Sirsa town where a religious commune headed by him is situated.
