14th August, 2012, New Delhi: Today, yoga guru Baba Ramdev told that he will finish his hunger strike before noon. The yoga guru also stated that before the next Lok Sabha poll, he will launch a huge movement against Congress. Last night, he ignored the request of Delhi police and spent the night at Ambedkar Stadium.
Earlier Ramdev told that he would finish his hunger strike in jail. He also added that he would call off his fast only after his supporters get water and food. Last night, they were provided with water and food.
Today at around 11 am, the yoga guru will end his fast and announce his further strategy. According to reports, the yoga guru has assured that he and his aids will leave the stadium very soon. Amberkar stadium which is located in Central Delhi is a high security zone in the capital. With Independence Day celebration less than twenty-four hours away, this is a huge relief for Delhi police.
Ramdev added that all his supporters felt that they were having a chance to go to jail for the sake of the country and they are why they did not leave the stadium premises.
