Raghuvaran Tamil actor passes away
Raghuvaran who is a popular Tamil actor died on Wednesday morning at a private hospital in Chennai following cardiac arrest. He was 60 years old. The versatile star acted in Tamil, Telegu & Malayalam films. Honoured by the Tamil Nadu government with its premier “Kalaimamani” award, the actor had carved a niche for himself by his method acting.
In his career of 26 years, Raghuvaran played hero, villain & many other character roles in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu & Hindi movies.
Noticed by critics immediately after his 1982 debut film Ezhavathu Manithan (Seventh Man), Raghuvaran played hero briefly & developed into a well-established character actor. His last big movie was Sivaji, the Boss, where he co-starred with Rajini. He was survived by his wife & daughter Rohini & son Nanda.
