The life of people in Punjab becomes miserable as Long power cuts are continue in the state. Patiala, Chandigarh & many other cities are facing unannounced cuts. Consumers in Punjab are facing one of the worst power crisis situations in the state. Even after utilizing all its resources, PSEB has been able to supply around 1,500 lakh units (LU) per day against the everyday’s total demand of 1,700 LU.

A senior official of PSEB has said, “The sign of improvement in the power situation is not visible, at least in near future in view of the unavailability of power”.
