Polling for Punjab Zila Parishad, Panchayat Samiti election begins
Polling for Punjab Zila Parishad & Panchayat Samiti election has been started in Punjab on Monday. Punjab police personnel have been deployed in strength in the state to ensure smooth polls for the 324 members of 20 zila parishads & 141 members of Panchayat samitis in 12,705 villages on May 12.
A spokesman of State Election Office said that 88,700 employees, including around 30,000 police personnel had been deployed in the state to ensure free and peaceful elections to the Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) bodies. A total of around 17,714 polling booths, including 3,700 identified as sensitive, have been set up. Around 1.51 crore voters would elect 79,849 panches during the election on Monday.
Five police personnel would be deployed at each of the polling station, the sources said adding that eight policemen would be deployed at the sensitive polling booths. The State Election Commission has also appointed 29 observers for the election the results of which would be declared on May 14.

my messege is around about poltices.
why the persion who wants to become a polites but they have no education is it no need to education in politics.if a persion who have no experince and education why election commisin give the promission to uneducated candidate
i persionaly beleave that it sould have to a good qualification for candidate it time to make a law of all major level election and minor level elction for all candidate
