PM visits Army camps in Arunachal Pradesh
On the second day of Manmohan Singh Prime Minister of India visit, Manmohan Singh on Friday reached Lohitpur in eastern Arunachal Pradesh & visited Army camps there. J J Singh retired Governor General of Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu & state Finance Minister Kalikh Pul accompanied the Prime Minister in an Army helicopter which took off from the Rajbhawan helipad this morning.
The Prime Minister, while addressing the jawans in Lohitpur today remarked that he was proud to say that the nation was prepared to face any challenge because of the brave jawans. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said,”To ensure peace, it is very important that the nation is strong”.
