North India received heavy rainfall
Patiala: North-India including Punjab, Haryana & Himachal Pradesh received heavy rainfall on Saturday late night. Farmers in Patiala district, Punjab, said that if this weather continues, they will suffer a huge loss.
Raging winds accompanied with heavy rainfall has resulted in damaging over 50 per cent of farmers produce in Punjab. From Punjab to Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, fields are ready for harvest. But farmers are struggling to recover losses.
The strong winds had also destroyed at least 100 houses in Punjab.
