Mulayam Singh Yadav re-elected as Samajwadi Party president

Mulayam Singh Yadav former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh was on Wednesday re-elected as Samajwadi Party president for another three-year term.

An official said that the Mulayam Singh Yadav was re-elected to the post on the first day of party’s three-day national convention that began Jabalpur.

The official said that the election process started as soon as the convention began, but no nomination, other than that of Yadav was received for the polls. Mulayam Singh has been party’s President since its inception in 1990.
