MK Narayanan: ISI continues to train terror groups against India
India on Thursday said that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence still continues to train terror groups & it will be under their attacks. National Security Adviser MK Narayanan said, “There is no change in the attitude of the ISI to train terror groups like the Lashkar-e-Taiba & the Jaish-e-Mohammad. Their attacks are likely to continue”.
MK Narayanan said that he hoped that the new government in Pakistan will lead to stable conditions & weaken the forces of fundamentalism.
MK Narayanan said, “We are fully committed to continuing the CBMs with Pakistan and would like to further improve relations in other areas. One of the greatest dangers India faced was the terror camps being run on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border by the Al Qaeda & the Taliban”.
He said Pakistan also continued to acquire missiles & other weapons & its military strategy remains India-centric.
