Maruti launches its new “A-Star” today

Maruti A-Star Launched

The Maruti Suzuki has launched Maruti A-Star (Alto) today. The company is aiming to sell about 50,000 units in the Indian market & a one Lakh units to be exported. It will be manufactured at its Manesar plant.

The new-generation 998-cc engine offers 67 BHP power & has been designed to meet future environment norms. Claiming that the Automotive Research Association India (ARAI)’s tests reveal that A-Star delivers an impressive mileage of 19.50 km a litre. It is powered by the company’s new KB10 998 cc petrol engine & will be rolled out in three variants. The base version of the A-Star will be about 3.6 Lacs.
