Marathi newsreader Data Kulkarni has passed away on Sunday. Datta Kulkarni, whose voice was familiar all over Masharashtra in yesteryears as reader of Marathi news was passed away in new Delhi.
He was 82 years old. Dattatreya Ramchandra Kulkarni was the head of Marathi news unit at All India Radio, Delhi for 30 long years. He retired from service 23 years ago.
Kulkarni, who was not keeping well from the past few months, breathed his last at his residence in east Delhi. He is survived by a son and daughter. Kulkarni was cremated at Sarai Kale Khan crematorium.
