Major fire at Hazrat Ganj’s Bank
A fire has been broke out in a building in Hazrat Ganj area in the heart of the city on Monday. The incident took place this morning when the fire broke out in Bank of Baroda office on the second floor of a building housing several offices.
A senior official of Police said that the fire also spread to another office of an insurance company in the building. A number of fire brigade vehicles were pressed into service that succeeded in dousing the fire within half an hour.
The cause of the fire is yet to be identified.
