Local links there in 26/11: Advani

by Sunil Sonkar

BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and the leader of the opposition L K Advani found some support on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s statement that local supports were associated in the Mumbai terror attack. Advani questioned the Mumbai police chief who ruled out any local links in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

L K Advani said in his speech in the Parliament that it is clear that the planning took place for a year and the terrorists visited the places that was attacked on 26/11 before. He also mentioned that it was a well-planned conspiracy and he was surprised to hear the comment of Mumbai police on the Mumbai terror attack. The comment of the chief was that the terrorists are either dead or in custody and there is no local link. Advani also questioned “how can they give that certificate?”

To these questions of Advani the congress condemned the remarks as anti-national and he toed the Pakistan’s line.
