Bladev Raj Chopra, better known as B.R. Chopra passed away on Wednesday in Mumbai after a prolonged illness. he died at 8:15 a.m. at his residence in suburban Juhu. He was 94 years old. BR Chopra was famous for his superhit movies “Naya Daur”, “Gumrah”, “Waqt” & “Nikaah”.
B.R.Chopra’s son Ravi Chopra said, “I have lost not only my father, but my guru. The Chopra family has lost a virtual patriarch & the film industry a conscientious filmmaker”. Besides Ravi Chopra, he was survived by two daughters Shashi & Neena.
