Around 30 people have been killed following landslides triggered by incessant rains in various parts of Himachal Pradesh in the last three days. Five people, including two persons, were buried alive in Shimla town in a massive landslide last evening near the Mall Road in Shimla.

Hundred of trees have fallen causing land slides in several places. Nine people lost their lives in Theog where three persons died when the vehicle in which they were travelling was buried in the debris, six people were killed in Chopal, five in Chirgoan & two in Rampur.
