India’s Anil Kumble retires

Indian Cricketer Player, Anil Kumble, retired from International cricket, ending his captaincy in the current series with Australia. The announcement by the 38 years old came on Sunday in New Delhi where the third Test between India & Australia ended in a draw.

Discussing his retirement, Anil Kumble said, it was tough, especially after 18 years when you have been so competitive. I had already made the decision yesterday, I knew I would not be fit & I don’t want to let the team down.
