The Indian Rupee has on Friday touched a new low of 50.59 against the US Dollar. The fall was triggered by offloading by foreign funds & weakening international currencies against the US Dollar. The demand for dollars is very strong in the global market, but the supply is limited. That is the man reason why Rupee is sliding further.
The Indian companies are reportedly converting the rupee into dollar to meet overseas business requirement. As expected, they are unable to raise funds from the global market. That is putting more pressure on the Rupee.
