Hizbul Mujahideen leader arrested in Srinagar
Apr 4th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, Cities News, India News, Jammu and Kashmir News, National NewsTop Hizbul Mujahideen leader has been arrested on Thursday, Police said today. The chief spokesperson of the Hizbul Mujahideen outfit was arrested in the early hours on Thursday.
A senior official of Police said that the Abdul Khalid Dar alias Junaid-ul-Islam, who had been active for the last 15 years, was arrested from Srinagar city.
The official also said that some operations were being carried out, based on the information extracted from Dar & three militants which were arrested on Tuesday. If operations are successful, the details will be made public.
