“Headlines Today” woman producer Soumya Viswanathan shot dead in Delhi
Sep 30th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, Delhi News, Haryana News, India News, National NewsA 27 years old woman producer of a news channel was shot dead in the wee hours on Monday at a posh area of south-west Delhi while she was on her way back from work. Soumya Viswanathan, who worked as a producer with a news channel “Headlines Today”, was found dead in her car on Nelson Mandela Road in Vasant Kunj locality at around 3:30 a.m.
Her car was found rammed into the divider of the road & she was seated in the driver’s seat. Soumya Viswanathan, who hails from Kerala, was rushed to AIIMS where she was declared brought dead. Doctors found a bullet in the right side of her head while there was a bullet on one of the tyres of the car.
