Around 800 doctors, including 500 specialists, will be recruited by the Haryana health department in the next one & a half months, the state’s health minister Kartar Devi said Friday. The minister has said that recruitment of 200 of these doctors was already in process & the remaining recruitments would also be done shortly.

Kartar Devi further said that the health department had formulated a new policy under which recruitment of medical officers would be a “continuous & ongoing process”. She said that Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had approved the appointments of medical officers to be taken out of the purview of the Haryana Public Service Commission or Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
