Gujjars to protest in North East soon

by admin

As protests of the Gujjars, who are demanding ST status, spread to fresh areas, the community living in the North-East will also take up the cudgels & launch an agitation in support of the cause. A representative of the Gujjar said, “Rajasthan Government has betrayed the Gujjars. In spite of the protests, both the Rajasthan Government & the Centre have been indifferent so far”.

Representatives of the community from the entire region met in Guwahati on Friday to chalk out a programme to join the protests. While the Gujjars of the North East resolved to form an apex organization of the community in a day or two, the community has also sought permission from the Assam & Meghalaya government to allow them to stage peaceful demonstrations.

We express regret at the fact that the picture that DailyNews365.com had posted alongside the news article 'Sanjeev Saxena Arrested By Delhi Police' was not of Sanjeev Saxena, the assistant of Samajwadi leader Amar Singh, but his namesake who is the respected CEO at Actis Biologics Inc. Sanjeev Saxena, the CEO, is not associated to the 2008 cash-for-votes scandal in any way. We express our sincere apologies to Mr. Saxena.
