Gujjar agitation: Rajasthan DGP removed

KS Bains will now act as the new DGP. Till Friday, more than 42 people had lost their lives in the clashes between Gujjars & Rajasthan police.
Meanwhile, the Gujjar organisation spearheading the ongoing agitation for ST status for the community on Friday passed a resolution expressing no-confidence in the BJP government in Rajasthan. The Gujjars have now sought Centre’s intervention to resolve the matter.
