Grenade blast in Jammu & Kashmir killed 3
A grenade blast occured on Thursday night in Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir in which three members of a family were killed & five injured. The explosion occurred at the house of a Village Defence Committee member, Mushtaq Ahmed, in Suntop hamlet in Arnas block of Reasi district.
Police were investigating whether the grenade was hurled by militants or it was an accidental explosion. An elderly man & his two grand daughters were killed &five other members of the family were injured in the blast. A police team had been rushed to spot &were taking the injured to hospital. The dead have been identified as Habibullah 76 years old, Nazia 9 years old & Nagina 14 years old.
