Granthi stabbed near Golden Temple in Amritsar
A granthi has been injured after a father-son duo, also granthis, allegedly stabbed him near Akal Takht on Sunday. Ranjit Singh, a granthi at Golden Temple, was injured after Pashora Singh & his son Pargat allegedly stabbed him following a heated argument.
Harbhajan Singh, manager of Golden Temple, said that they had an altercation after which the father-son duo allegedly stabbed Ranjit. He said that they were not employees of SGPC. He said he had deputed additional manager of Golden Temple Dalwinder Singh to probe the incident.
