Government won Trust Vote in Lok Sabha
UPA has on Tuesday won the Trust vote polling 253 in favour vis-a-vis 232 against in a House of 487 with two abstention in the Lok Sabha. But this final tally may change later after counting of voting slips.
The voting was both automated as well as manual. The Prime Minister & Sonia Gandhi were immediately surrounded by a galaxy of members after UPA won Trust Vote in Lok Sabha.
Earlier, the Opposition members rushed to the well of the House, forcing the PM to cut short his reply to the debate. The Speaker then put the confidence motion to vote.
