Goa Police summoned Scarlett’s mother Fiona Mackeown
British teenager Sacrlett Keeling’s mother Fiona Mackeown has been summoned by Goa Police to provide evidence to investigators after she claimed of knowing the identity of the killer.
It comes after Fiona MacKeown told the Guardian a “powerful person with money” was involved in the case. Police in Goa, India, said Ms MacKeown would be called to testify under oath.
A senior official of Goa Police said that the summons for Fiona Mackeown was served on her lawyer Vikram Varma’s address on Thursday evening, however, the advocate refused to accept the summons stating that she has already left for the UK.
Scarlett 15 years old was raped & found murdered on Anjuna beach, Goa, during a family holiday in February.
