Fire in factory in Gujarat brought under control

An official said that the three villages in central Gujarat were evacuated in a precautionary measure after a factory caught fire.
The official said that there were no reports of loss of life but properties worth millions of rupees were destroyed. The massive fire broke out at the storehouse of the incinerator plant of Bharuch Environ Infrastructure Limited (BEIL) in Ankleshwar, about 250 km from Ahmedabad, after 12 to 15 drums containing hazardous wastes caught fire.
The fire was brought under control at 11:00 p.m.. The area has been cordoned off & three villages of Dadhal, Jitali & Saifuddin situated near BIEL have been evacuated as a precautionary measure.
