Famous Poet Arun Kale died on Wednesday
Feb 21st, 2008 | Category:India News, National NewsFamous Poet Arun Kale died on Wednesday following an heart attack. Arun Kale was 54 years old. His first book on poem “Rock Garden” was published in 1993, following which his other collections including the popular “City of Siren” went on to recieve accolades.
Kale was elected as a President of the proposed Akshar Manav Sahitya Sammelan to be held on Feb 26-27 at Bhosi in Chandrapur district. Arun Kale was survivied by a wife, two daughters & a son. Large number of people from all walks of life & friends attended his cremation on Thursday.
