Ex-Minister Anandsen Yadav remanded to 14-day judicial custody
Jun 16th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, Cities News, India News, National News, States NewsA Faizabad court has on Monday remanded Anandsen Yadav, former Uttar Pradesh Minister & sitting BSP MLA, to judicial custody in the Shashi murder case for 14 days. He was sent to district jail. He has been wanted in connection with the murder of the law student who went missing since October 22 last year.
He had surrendered before police in Lucknow’s Ghazipur station on Saturday & was sent to Faizabad. His driver Vijay Sen & another associate, Seema Azad, had been arrested earlier. Shashi, with whom the former minister had allegedly shared an illicit relationship, was killed after she became pregnant in an apparent rerun of the Madhumita murder.
