Earthquake struck Uttarakhand, no casualties reported

There were no reports of any casualties or damge. Met Director Anand Sharma said that the tremor was felt around 8.57 am in Pithoragarh, a high seismic zone. However, no loss of life or property was reported.
They said people in rushed out of their houses when the quake struck. It was epicentred at 29.6 degrees north latitude & 80.2 east longitude.
