Drug dealer awarded death penalty
Feb 7th, 2008 | Category:India News, Mumbai News, National NewsA drug dealer Ghulam Malik arrested for the second time for selling commercial quantity of narcotics, was awarded death penalty by a special court here. NDPS Special Judge P.B. Sawant awarded death to Ghulam Malik, who was earlier convicted under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Malik was convicted by the court on December 19 last. The sources said that in 2004, a Gujarat court had convicted him for conspiring to smuggle 142 kg of hashish.
