Don threatens to kill Mahesh Bhatt for opposing Bajrang Dal
Sep 25th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, Cities News, India News, Mumbai News, National NewsMahesh Bhatt, a well known filmmaker, has on Thursday approached top police officials after a man claiming to be gangster Ravi Pujari phoned his Juhu office & threatened to kill the director if he did not stop speaking against the Bajrang Dal. The threat call came a day after Bhatt returned from Mangalore, where he had gone to extend his support to Christians who were being targeted by the Bajrang Dal.
After Wednesday’s incident, the police have increased security for Bhatt. A senior Police official said, “Our investigations have begun. We have increased security with Bhatt. We are probing into the matter”.
