Delhi Mayor Aarti Mehra: No sealing in city’s rural areas
Delhi Mayor Aarti Mehra has announced on Tuesday that there will be no sealing in the rural areas of the city. The Delhi Mayor has ordered the MCD Commissioner not to conduct ongoing sealing & demolition drive in the rural areas adjoining the National Capital Region.
The move is likely to bring respite for traders & business, as the ongoing sealing & demolition drive is having a negative impact on the society & its economic growth. Mehra had recently written a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh seeking his urgent intervention to end the ongoing sealing & demolition drive.
