Delhi cabinet will meet to discuss on rising prices

The government is likely to adopt measures to bring down prices of essential commodities.
Delhi government is also launching a special drive beginning today to crack down on hoarding and profiteering in the capital. A senior official of Delhi government said on yesterday, “From tomorrow, Delhi government will launch a special drive to crack down on profiteering and hoarding in Delhi”.
The official also said that they will take a strict action against traders, who failed to pass on the benefits after the Centre abolished import duty on soya oil & palm oil.
The raids will be conducted and criminal cases will be filed against black-marketeers & hoarders of cooking oil & they may even face arrest for not complying with government instructions, he added.
