Curfew imposed in Jaipur, eight suspects detained
Curfew has been imposed on 15 Police station areas of Jaipur in the wake of the Nine deadly blasts that left at least 80 dead & 200 injured.The curfew will be effective from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Kanhaiya Lal the Additional General Director of Police has said that the curfew has been imposed in the areas Lal Kothi, Adarsh Nagar, Transport Nagar, Manak Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Ram Ganj, Galta Gate, Brahmpuri, Bhatta Basti, Kotwali, Nahargarh, Sanjay Circle, Jalubpura & Hasanpura Chowki in Sadar area.
Meanwhile, eight persons have been picked up for questioning in connection with the deadly serial blasts in the city even as investigations pointed out to the involvement of Bangladesh-based Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islamia (HUJI).
