CPI Maoists call Jharkhand bandh on Thursday
The CPI-Maoist has called a 24 hours state-wide strike on Thursday. The CPI-Maoists call Jharkhand bandh on Thursday against the killing of seven of its cadres in Jharkhand last week. Seven CPI-Maoist cadres were killed on February 14 in a joint operation by the police & members of the village defence committee near Jamshedpur.
Meanwhile, the Director General of Police V.D. Ram has directed district police heads to be alert especially after the Maoist attacks on police posts in Orissa’s Nayagarh district, killing 13 policemen. THe Security of police stations & other important places has been beefed up.
