CPI (M-L) protesting against water & power shortage in Bihar
May 24th, 2008 | Category:Breaking News, Cities News, India News, National News, States NewsCommunist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) activists have disrupted traffic & set up road blockages with the help of burnt tyres & water containers in protest against the Bihar Government’s inability to end the shortage of water & electricity across the state.
Raising slogans against state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the activists claimed that the general public has been suffering for almost a week & inspite repeated written reminders, the State Administration had not budged to rectify what was an alarming situation.
Summer months have always brought misery to people across the country, particularly in Bihar. Power & water shortage hit several million households in the months of May & June.
