Apr 14th, 2008 | Category:Delhi News, India News, National News, States NewsA team of Chinese security officials is expected in Delhi on Monday to inspect the route for the Olympic torch run on April 17. Indian officials are expected to take them for a survey of the route. The torch will arrive in Delhi on Thursday afternoon.
The run has been shortened to just 2.3 km, down Rajpath, a high security zone of Delhi. India is home to lakhs of Tibetan refugees, hundreds of whom have begun arriving in Delhi for protests. The biggest fear is that there will be a repeat of London & Paris security breaches by free Tibet activists.
